PCAT Score Review
Usually, PCAT scores are sent out 6 weeks after the PCAT test. Don’t call the testing center for a score report.
If you do not ace the PCAT don’t lose hope. Thousands of good pharmacists have taken the PCAT test and not done well on their first attempt. Any given day a good student can make a few mistakes.
If you don’t ace the PCAT ask yourself the following questions.
- Did I know the material on the PCAT?
- Did I feel comfortable with testing format?
- Was there something else going on in my life that was a distracter?
- Did I feel like I was guessing on the PCAT test?
- Did I give each question my best effort?
- Did I study for each section of the PCAT separately?
- Did I prepare for the length of the PCAT test?
Use the above questions to improve your focus for your PCAT preparation. Hundreds if not thousands of students have never gone back to take the PCAT test the second time. The PCAT is just another hurdle in a series of qualifying requirements to become a pharmacist. Don’t lose hope and become a better student by pursing knowledge that will help you ace the PCAT.
